1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or purchasing any service or course through Learn Portuguese with Sofia (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this Platform.

2. Services Offered

Learn Portuguese with Sofia provides:

Self-paced online courses
Live private or group Zoom lessons
WhatsApp-based conversational practice

All services are intended for educational use only and are delivered digitally.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use this Platform or enroll in a class. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Payments & Refunds

All payments are required upfront before gaining access to any course or confirming a private class.
Payments are processed through Gumroad or other agreed methods.
No refunds are offered on any purchases, including digital courses, class packages, or conversational support.

5. Scheduling & Cancellations

Private classes require payment in advance for a minimum number of sessions.
Group classes must be paid in advance for the full course or bundle.
Cancellations are free if made at least 24 hours in advance.
Late cancellations or no-shows will not be rescheduled or refunded.
For group classes, cancellations must be agreed upon by the whole group.

6. Course Access

Access to self-paced courses is granted via Gumroad upon payment.
All materials are for personal use only and must not be shared or resold.
Access does not guarantee future updates or support unless stated otherwise.

7. Intellectual Property

All videos, PDFs, audio, and written content are the intellectual property of Learn Portuguese with Sofia. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or publish any content without explicit permission.

8. Support & Communication

Depending on your course or package, you may have access to teacher support via email or WhatsApp. While responses are timely, availability may vary. Students are responsible for completing homework and engaging with the material.

9. Modifications

Terms of Service may be updated at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in your country of residence. We encourage informal resolution of any issues through respectful communication.
